I think it’s because, for the first time in ages, I’m not barreling towards a goal.

I’m not under an intense book deadline. I am taking my time remastering and producing my work under my own publishing imprint (watch this space!)

I’m not clawing my way to a new milestone. I am making myself completely available for what’s next.

I’m not fighting. I am flowing.

I am slowing down enough to see how I can be of service, getting quiet enough to hear the whispers of opportunities.

And I suspect, when I am ready to lift up my anchor again, the travel will be that much sweeter.
