88 often-brilliant, always-interesting talks in 5 days.

I graced the second stage - so far back, they actually had a second stage - for 3.5 minutes.

It was scary and fun and transformative.

I’ve gone nearly every year for a dozen years.

I’ve also gotten to know Chris Anderson, the leader who turned ted talks into TED TALKS.

I skipped last year for reasons.

But I have always respected Chris’ intention, even when I disagreed with him.

And I made sure to come back for this year’s TED.

As Chris is retiring from the helm.

It is the end of this era ⏳
